Huawei Honor 9 open for pre-registration ahead of June 12 launch

first_imgChinese smartphone maker Huawei is all set to launch its upcoming flagship device Honor 9 on June 12. The device has been subjected to several leaks and rumours and now it seems that the device is already up for pre-orders in its home country.- China.Huawei Honor 9 has been spotted on a Chinamobile. The device is seen on the registration page of the website. It seems that the smartphone is available for pre-orders and the site has also talked a bit about phone’s specs.According to the listing, Honor 9 will sport 5.15 inch 1080p screen. TENAA listing had also revealed that the smartphone will have a 3D curved glass at the back and a 2.5D curved glass on the front. The upcoming Honor 9 may share its looks with its predecessor Honor 8. The smartphone is expected to sport a dual camera set up at the back with LED flash and laser focus module. The spec sheet by Chinamobile reveals that the Honor 9 will come with 12MP and 20MP dual rear-camera setup and will be fuelled by Hisilicon Kirin 960 chipset . Previous rumours suggest that the smartphone may come with a reflective glass shell and a fingerprint scanner at the front. Furthermore, the device could pack in  6GB RAM.  The TENAA listing hint at two RAM variants of the phone. There are chances that there could be 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM, both with 128GB internal storage onboard. The Honor 9 is purported to come with a battery size of more than 3000mAh.Past rumours hint that Honor may ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack in the Honor 9. A leak by The Tech Point had exposed  the device form several angles . the bottom part of the phone was seen carrying two speaker grills with a USB Type-C port placed in the middle.
