first_img WATCH US LIVE IAAF World Championships will be taking place from September 27 to October 6, 2019. The events will be held at the renovated multi-purpose Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar. The men’s shot put qualifier’s for group A and B are scheduled for October 3, 2019, at 9:50 pm and 11:10 pm IST, respectively. Finals will be on October 5, 2019, at 10:35 pm IST. He won in Paris with a season-best of 22.4 metres and retained his Diamond league men’s shot put title in Brussels. Walsh has a good record with big tournaments and has previously won four gold at World Men’s Shot Put Championships. Walsh’s pre-championship loss was with a respectable 21.90 metres at the Chorzow competition.Ryan Crouser has also been in terrific form opening his outdoor campaign with world-leading personal best of 22.74 metres. It is the longest throw since 1990.
