first_img March 28, 2007PENSACOLA, Fla. – One day after their 10-match winning streak came to an end against top-ranked BYU-Hawaii, fifth-ranked West Florida was back in action on Wednesday. West Florida (13-5, 4-1 GSC) returned to Gulf South Conference action with a 7-0 shutout of West Alabama (3-9, 1-6 GSC) at the Ralph “Skeeter” Carson Tennis Complex.West Florida only lost two games in sweeping the doubles competition. The Argonauts were equally as impressive in singles, only losing six games in the four singles matches that were completed.West Florida will return to the courts on Friday against 11th ranked Georgia College and State University.
